Vision & Mission
UMCOC’s vision is simple: to help one another, and care for each other.
UMCOC believes humanity is one big family, and we may not be able to help everyone, but everyone can help someone. UMCOC stands for the principle of loving for others what we love for ourselves, as shown by the Prophet (SAW), and knows that we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
What we do:
In case of a death in member’s family, UMCOC will provide financial assistance to the registered members and thereafter the disbursed amount will be distributed equally among all members and recollected as a re-imbursement share to replenish the funds for future.
Reasons to join FADA – UMCOC
- Have less financial obligation to worry about before one dies and remove financial burden from loved ones at the time of funeral.
- Gain immense reward (Ajr) from Allah SWT while one is alive, and help other member(s) and their families by chipping in a nominal financial share for others’ funeral and after-death expenses.
- Join a community of concerned and caring UMCOC members who will pray for you upon your death and will chip in their financial share for your funeral and other expenses.
- A unique option to include all your dependents including all unmarried, married, separated children, parent(s), in-laws of any age living at the same address.
UMCOC OFFERS YOU
Financial Assistance for Funeral:
Up to CAD8,000 for every deceased member’s funeral expenses within Canada. Funeral Services include: release of body Ghusl (bath), coffin (box), Kafan (shroud), preparation for burial, transportation to graveyard and full burial process.
After Death Assistance:
In case of any head of family (earning male or female member) pass on, eligible and deserving families will be assisted through federal, provincial, regional support systems or optional donations collected from UMCOC members and affiliated food banks etc.
Future Social and Financial Assistance through sharing & caring programs.

One-time Registration & Membership Fee

| Membership fee for Principal applicant: | CAD150 |
| Spouse: | CAD100 |
| Dependent(s) up to 25 years age: | CAD25 each |
| Membership fee Dependent(s) above 25 years age: | CAD50 each |
Please fill Form “A” and Form “B” first, and UMCOC will issue acknowledgement within 3-4 days. After that, UMCOC will notify you when you are required to submit your payment. You will receive confirmation of membership within 30 days.
NOTE: Registration & Membership fee may be paid in one or two installments.
